There are so many things you can do with a long hair style, from curling to crimp, to putting it up in a fabulous and elegant up do. There are some popular looks with long hair that never seem to fail, because long hair can basically go with any face type. Long hairstyles must have lots of natural shine, flirtatious flips and long loose layers whether your hairstyle is straight, wavy or curly. Hair grows at the rate of approximately half-an-inch (1 cm) a month, so very long hair is several years old. It has borne the stress of brushing, shampooing and detaining over all that time.

If you talk to ten different long hair care experts you'll receive ten different opinions about the very best long hair growing, care and maintenance tips.

Long hair is fragile and needs intensive conditioning and caring. The length should be trimmed regularly and the hair brushed each day using a pure, bristle brush. The bristles literally polish the hair gently spreading the natural oils from roots to ends. Combs should he wide toothed, smooth ended and of a high quality.

One of the major problems causing distress to long hair is breakage, experienced as a network of shorter strands which may be frizzy, fly-a-way or with lots of split ends.
Long hair offers many different hairstyle options, that other hair lengths do not. A layered long hairstyle is a very versatile cut that gives definition to the face.
The long hair style works out for any occasions. It goes well in a prom dance, it goes well for pageants and it is also a favorite of the weddings. Weddings have special long hair styles that are meant just for the occasion. Long hairstyles take a while to grow, so if you haven't got the patience and time, try extensions.
Hair is most fragile when wet.  Never ever brush wet hair to prevent breakage.De-tangle hair properly by starting at the very ends and slowly and carefully working up the hair shaft to remove tangles.  When possible use either your fingers (finger picking/raking) or a wide tooth comb or pick.
If you have a long hairstyle you have to care a lot to maintain it. To keep long hair cut in optimum condition you should never brush it when wet and if possible allow hair to dry naturally. Special care should be taken in the sun to protect the hair in summers. Wear a sun hat or scarf or use a cream or gel with a built-in sunscreen.
Longer hairstyles are hard to take care of and need extra attention to avoid dry, coarse hair and split ends. Flyaway and frizzy hair seems to be more dominant with longer tresses as well. Try different high quality products recommended by your hair stylist to keep your hair healthy. Try something new with your long hair once in a while, beautiful up dos, multiple pony tails, etc. Treat your hair like a guy treats his car, take it to the salon once in a while and use quality products. Enjoy your long hair, many women have trouble growing long beautiful hair.

Beauty: Bridal Hair - Choosing your Perfect Bridal Hair Style

hair style
I cannot possibly give you definitive bridal hair styles and tell you which one you should have - there are just too many factors to consider! But I can give you some guidelines and tips that should lead you to that perfect hair-do. Choosing a hair style be it bridal or everyday requires careful consideration of your appearance, your face shape and your style. When it comes to bridal hair your options are far ranging, from loose styles to fabulous up-does and combinations in between, but it is choosing the right look for your wedding style, your face and your wedding dress that will make it a success.

You can judge the quality of their work. If the styles all look very similar to each other you may want to go elsewhere, unless that is a style you like of course! Some salons do not get much by way of bridal work and so have very few styles in their repertoire, however if you are not after a formal style then they may be the right choice.
A good tip is to collect together pictures of bridal hair styles you like. Look through bridal and hair magazines and take out pictures of different styles - up-does, down-does, half up half down-does! You may need to narrow your selection down depending on how many you may have picked. Consider each style on its merits, will it suit your face shape, will it suit your wedding outfit and will it suit your wedding style?

Take as many of these pictures as you want with you to the salon and get the stylists advice. A good stylist will quickly take out those styles that won’t suit you, those that wouldn’t suit your wedding style or would be impractical and leave you with those that you should consider.

All that remains then is to have a trial run (or three) to find the right style for you. You may have bought your hair accessories already so take them along with, but if you haven’t then ask for some advice on what to choose - tiara, hair jewels, flowers, combs etc. You should also make the stylist aware if you are having a veil and the style of that veil. When you go for your trial appointment take your hair accessories and veil with you so you can see how they all look together. It would be a disaster on the wedding day to get your hair styled and veil and accessories in place only to find the whole look is awful!

Different Hairstyles for Big Forehead

hairstyleDo you have a big, wide forehead? Are you not able to finalize a hairstyle for yourself that can give your face a perfect shape by hiding your wide and big forehead. If you think that nothing can be done to hide your extra large forehead, you are wrong. There are hairstyles which can make your forehead look proportionate to your face. Below are a few tips and hairstyles that you can switch to in order to make your big forehead look smaller and proportionate.
Bangs are one of the methods to mask a big forehead. Bangs serve as curtains to reduce the prominence of big forehead, making it look much more proportionate according to the face. There are different bangs available for different face shapes, hence it is very essential to choose which one suits you the best. Choose according to your facial angles and lines. Hairstylists generally recommend XXL bangs for females who have larger forehead. This size of bangs creates an illusion of a smaller and narrow forehead. The strands of the bangs cover the bare part of the forehead, thereby adding volume to the overall hairstyle. However, only a professional's dexterity can make the bangs look natural. Even a single flaw can make the artificiality evident.
Another method to camouflage your big and wide forehead is the classy chic style, featuring layers that form a special frame to the face. The ones who do not want to frame layers can go for choppy or asymmetrical layers. Layered hairstyles look elegantly natural, only if done perfectly.
In case you desire a side-parted hairstyle, you have a lot of options to choose from. There are different side-parted hairstyles that can create an illusion of a proportionate forehead. Especially if you can manage to fix the strands across the forehead, you can create the appearance resembling a bang hairstyle. To do so and to make sure that it stays easy, apply a little pomade on your hair. Next, make a groovy side-part and tie hair into a ponytail. You can also pin it up to get a little glam effect. This hairstyle can make your face and forehead look proportionate without you having to sacrifice the length of your hair.
Furthermore, you can either go for sleek tresses or curls, depending upon the texture of your hair. Make sure you choose an option which lets you manage your hair more easily.
